First of all, be aware that this is not a UK based company despite appearances. The product (new battery for Dell laptop) took 2 weeks to arrive despite a estimated 2-5 working day promise. The battery appeared to be genuine, and retained charge but was faulty and couldn't reliably supply power once disconnected from the mains, and so the laptop almost immediately shut down once the charger was removed. I have requested a RMA number (a return invoice number) from the company so that I could return the product for over a month now. I have received no adequate response by email or through their supposed 24/7 chat service on the website. I have given up trying to get a response from them and I am currently working with my bank to arrange a charge-back. You may get lucky when making a purchase through this company, but if you experience any issues, good luck getting any help from them. You're honestly better off spending a little more money and making your purchase from your product's official supplier/company and having that peace of mind

On website it says delivery time to the UK is 2-5 working days. 4 days pass email support and they reply 48 hours later saying it’s being shipped from abroad and will take 10-15 working days and to be PATIENT. If I wanted to wait as long as I have to I would have ordered else where and got it cheaper and quicker. Stay away from this sham of a company. Best bet is ebay or amazon.

Ordered a mac keyboard which did not arrive. No responses to emails asking where item was. Although site has .co.uk it is China based.

Ordered dell inspiron 1525 battery on Tuesday,arrived Saturday,works fine - delighted.

I was worried after reading reviews for this company after making my purchase - especially as it is not clear on the site that they are not UK based despite having a .co.uk address. However they did communicate quickly giving me a tracking number for the parcel which allowed me to monitor its progress via Singapore to the UK. It was finally delivery after around 2 weeks and was well packed including instructions for use, and clearly new and not refurbished. The battery fitted well and has been in use for 2 weeks now without a problem, and lasts for some 2.5 hrs in use which is on par with the original. The key question is would I use them again? - well probably not due to their lack of transparency on the site about where they are located, and the possible problems of returning a fauly product/refund if all is not well.

I needed a new battery for my Dell Vostro laptop and the price from Dell was £137.99 so after shopping around for a cheaper alternative I decided on top-battery.co.uk - afterall with a .co.uk address surely they will be based in the UK and easy to deal with!! I wish I'd checked more thoroughly first - I usually do - but in this instance obviously not carefully enough. The battery took over 2 weeks to arrive and had been shipped from China. It 'sort of' fitted on to my laptop (big gap along the joining edge) but when I turned the laptop on I got a message stating that the computer didn't recognise the battery and would not charge from it. I contacted top-battery who asked me to mail it back to China at my own expense, they even asked me not to send it using one of the big carriers! My guess - they send out a duff battery, get £35 of your money - you send it back - they send it out again and again and as long as people keep sending it back at their own cost top-battery can send out the same duff battery continuosly until someone (me) refuses to lose another £10 by posting it back. I paid by Paypal so have opened a dispute and am hoping to get my money back that way. Avoid this company at all costs!!

I bought a battery from these people, Battery will not hold charge as they specify, They asked me to return battery to china. On the website no mention of where they are trading from. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

Despite having a .co.uk address they are not based in the UK so expect a long long delay on receiving your order
