“Extra Parts Need Purchasing to Fit”

Bought this shower but when you try and fit it you realise you have to buy a through the wall special bracket to keep the mixer tap in place. It does not mention anywhere on the box that you have to buy additional fixing products, which can only be bought and ordered through Cooke & Lewis, on a premium phone number, at an extra cost of £50! If I had known this I would of bought a different brand that comes as a complete package with no hidden extras.

Is it true that having set the pipework into the wall to take the Tidal shower I have to buy a special fitting kit separately?
