Since the change from Abbey National I have found Santander banks to be unhelpful, difficult to deal with and with senior managers who are not worth paying - it must be an entry level job to only be able to way we cannot help you and variations thereon - and that is in response to a call following an Identity Protection Alert! Though I have never applied for a Santander account through their 'buying out' other banks I now have 6 accounts with a company that I do not like or want to deal with. Get me out of here now!!
