“Neostar problems”

Initial Neostar purchase involved Audacity software. Regrettably that software did not react well to other software on my computer so the unit was returned in favour of Neostar 6 in 1 Music Master. Second item was not in stock, and delivery took well over one month. When the 6 in 1 did arrive I could not switch it on. (Just went to Standby). Delivery and collection on the second return left much to be desired: I waited in for two days for delivery. Same for collection. I asked MySmartBuy not to replace faulty item, just return my money which, at this time of writing is allegedly happening. Due to above problems, in my case an assessment of Neostar products would not be a balanced response. Suffice to say I do feel the products could be improved. The finish is somewhat shoddy. This is cheap wood and plastic. But delivery/collection services offered by MySmartBuy really need to be looked at if I am ever to purchase from them again.

“Reasonable kit.”

Decided To purchase this unit to put some of my now rare discs onto CD. It does what it's supposed to do but the unit is spoiled by its casing which consists of cheap wood painted black and a piece of very cheap hardboard at the rear. The sound is just ok but I have heard better. As the saying goes, It " does what it says on the tin "

“absolutely appallling...and customer service appalling !”

i ordered this item: neostar-6in1-music-cd-recording-system and the stylus....it said both items were in stock...i paid..after 10 days emailed them.. and phoned them. the items werent in stock..and wasnt in stock possibly for another 4 weeks. customer services rude....i wanted this for a birthday present and the day had coem and gone and i had no money to buy soemthing else..angry is not the word. no apologies..no compensation for my trouble and embarassement to who would have been the possible receiver of item. shocking...i will leave mnay reviews about this shop and how incompetent they are..in stock does not mean out of stock for 7 weeks but we will hold onto your money in the meantime. refund issued will see if i get that back!... 260 quid i cannot afford to be without and have nothing. i DO NOT recommend this online shop to anyone..if it says in stock it probably isnt. avoid and get from elsewhere like amazon uk.

My machine has stopped working. It is a Neostar GDCD1, five years old. Screen shows nothing, but is live. Cannot remove disc. Smell of burning Bakelite before it stopped. Help desk at neostar no help at all. Do I dump it?

My Neostar LECD1 does not start. When Switched on the menu screen just lights up and the busy sign does not appear. Nothing responds i.e. the turntable won't run or the CD draws open etc. I have unplugged it for a while and still no joy. What should I do? Thanks

I'm finding it impossible to copy from tape to cd, though following instructions to the letter - anyone have any tips/advice?
