GREAT CROSSBOW (QUAD 400)

I've read reviews of this crossbow(quad 400), I purchased mine in 2008..never and I mean ever had anything described by oyher writers happen. I still have the original string on this bow. People need to read directions carefully when dealing with a high power bow. I wax the string, as well as the shooting rails, every 5 to 7 shots. I must have pushed at least 500 bolts so far through this bow if not more without any issues. I shoot it all year long as well as my daughter. It is deadly accurate out to 50 yards, from a bench. I can easily hit the target, at 50 yards, with 1.5 inch groups from a fixed position. Every deer that I shot with this bow dropped within 75 yards of being hit, all complete passthroughs, using the cheap Wal-mart broadheads. If you follow the basic care and safety rules your bow should be one of the best purchases you every made. Also, an important point..ONLY use the Barnett factory bolts that came originally with the quad. If you go with a lighter bolt you may damage the limbs, break strings etc..plus the factory bolts fly much better than any others out there. I'll put my $370.00 Quad up agaist any other cross-bow out there..LOVE IT!!!!!!
