Fully agree with Tonyfisk particularly regarding the answer machine audio hash - can't call it quality, many messages indechipherable. I bought this on the basis that Motorola audio quality on their mobile radio products is always very good. There is no "if it doesn't work, try this" section in the booklet supplied nor is a technical support number or e-mail address listed - the phone number listed in the booklet is discontinued. Mostly a good product, let down by poor sound quality on the answering machine, probably due to over-compression of the sound files in order to cram three times the amount of messages on for no extra money.
As a phone, it's fine, with good button layout and easy to use (once you work out all the symbols on the handset!) but since you have to strain your ears to decipher names and phone numbers in messages, a dead loss as a TAM.

The single handset model is £29.99 at Argos but the twin handset is only another £10 so good value. I like the answering machine being part of the base unit rather than via the handset. It displays the number of messages you have received and the buttons are well laid out. I actually bought this unit for my father as it is easy to use. The handset holds 30 names/numbers and there is a 20 call log. The buttons on the handset are quite large and easy to use. I did need the instruction booklet to find out how to input the names/numbers but it was fairly straightforward after that. There is also a speakerphone and volume control on the handset. For the money, I think this is very good value for a well known brand.
