Paid for private taxi. We went to arrivals to find no driver waiting on us after phoning both the emergency and other number. One number constantly engaged and other number unable to take incoming calls. After waiting an hour and a half still no driver with our name on a board. Had to walk to other arrivals to find a bus company not called splash transfers. Eros bus travel very rude and disrespectful towards us. Told us it was a bus we would have to get and that it wasn't their problem we had to wait and panic that no one was there to meet us at arrivals as stated our transfer print out. Other passengers that went through other companies also had the same problem. I am now having to pay for a private taxi on return as I do not trust they will come for us. I will be taking this further once back in the UK

We booked a private taxi from the Barcelona Airport to the hotel in the centre of the city. When we arrived at the airport the driver was waiting us. Vehicles were well presented and drivers were courteous and helpful. For our departure Splash Transfers sent us an e-mail to inform the pick up. When we arrived at the hotel we had the mail on the bed. Return was just the same, punctual arrival and comfortable journey. We would use again and we recommend to use them to anyone!

I booked a private transfer from Barcelona hotel to the airport one month in advance through World Airport Transfer. Splash Travel was the provider. On the morning of departure, waited in the lobby as instructed (3 hrs before our flight time). We waited for a half hour and when no one showed up, the hotel tried to contact the company several times (for 45 mins.) but there was no answer, even on their emergency line. After waiting for over an hour, we took a taxi and just made it to our gate on time. I have since looked up this company and found that have a lot of negative reviews. I contacted World Airport Transfer for a refund and it's taken 3 weeks for them to confirm that my refund will be processed back to my credit card. They could not tell me a reason why no one showed up either, other than that they are looking for another local supplier for transfers in Barcelona. I do not recommend using Splash Transfers or World Airport Transfers. It's funny how they can charge your credit card the same day but when it comes to giving your money back, it takes weeks. What's wrong with that picture!

Website details "driver will be waiting in arrivals hall with clients name or "Splash Transfer" sign and they track flight numbers" this did not occurr. 2 of out party were in the arrivals hall 30 minutes before the scheduled flight arrival time of the flight number provided to Splah Transfers

After great difficulty we managed to get a response on 24 hour help line and we were advised that the driver had been waiting we were considered a " no show" this definitely did not occur the flight for 3 of our party of 5 was 30 minutes late !!!

After much arguing we found that the agents were by the bronze horse in Terminal 2B, the flight the transfer was booked against arrived in Terminal 2A, so much for tracking flights !! Absolutely no indication of this on the instructions provided when making the booking with Splash Transfer

The agent then attempted to organise our party onto a group transfer " as it was our fault that

1. The flight had been 30 minutes late in arriving

, 2. We had yet to master the art of mind reading as to where we were to meet the agent

After yet more telephone calls we eventually managed to secure the private transfer we had paid for

I have given two stars simply because a minibus did turn up to take us back to the airport when there was a strike on but we were SO disappointed that we were left stranded at the airport in Barcelona for 90 mins and a taxi did not turn up. We phoned the 24 hr number quite a few times but there was no reply so in the end we had to pay extra for a taxi outside the airport. I have written to Splash Transfers on four occasions without even an acknowledgement and there has been NO refund for the journey to the hotel. We travel to many cities in Europe and always book in advance for the taxi but this experience has really made me wary in future. I had foolishly thought that all companies would be reputable and have never before been concerned about paying 'up front' but this experience did put a dampener on the special holiday I had arranged for my friends 70th birthday.

When we arrived with 3 young children there was no taxi to meet us.Phoned company they had no record of our booking but thankfully we had a screen print out with order number.An hour later we got a bus to destination with no baby seat ( paid €10 extra for this.)

On return journey we had to make 4 separate calls to confirm pick up.Again they had no record of our booking.We eventually got collected and once again no baby seat.

We prepaid and booked this service because we wanted everything to run smoothly travelling with children.We had to do all the chasing and i would not recommend this company to anyone,overpriced and unreliable...

Taxi never turned up. I have been chasing them for 5 weeks for a refund. Won't asnwer emails or phone calls.

The most unhelpful, untruthful, unfriendly transfer company you could have the misfortune to come across. If your travel plans change, Splash Travel will point blank refuse to help out. They'll just take your money and run. When I phoned to tell them that my flight had been cancelled, first of all they claimed I should phone back on the day the transfer was due. Then they said there was no way they could change the booking anyway.

TERRIBLE COMPANY. PEOPLE MISSING FLIGHTS BECAUSE OF THEM AND THEY DONT CARE!! DONT BOOK WITHOUT THEM OR EROS BUS !

We booked a transfer from Malaga airport to the centre, very reasonable rates. There were in the arrivals hall with our name on the card.

The return journey was excellent the taxi driver was early so no worries.

I would recommend this firm.
