“Return bus never arrived”

Returned transfer never turned up. Had to pay for a taxi. Phone service terrible and they kept hanging up on me. Terrible service would not recommend.

“Terrible! Do not use”

On arrival at Faro airport we were told there was no transfer taxi for us and we should queue at the taxi rank, in the heat, with our 4mth old granddaughter. We'd prepaid and booked Greenbus to include a car seat, so we were really upset when we had to sit the baby on our lap in a taxi for an hours journey. It was worse still for the return journey, we rang to confirm they were picking us up and we stood outside our villa at the allotted time 8.10am. At 8.30 they hadn't turned up and so we rang to be told. They couldn't locate our driver and to find a taxi! This really is unacceptable, what's more, when home , we rang to complain and get our refund, they weren't interested and just told us to take it up with our credit card company. If there was a No Star review, they'd get it.

“Why are they so ad?”

When we arrived at Faro we had to wait 1 hrour for the taxi to turn up. On our return the taxi never turned up at all. Spend a bit more and get a reliable service

“TERRIBLE SERVICE - DO NOT USE GREENBUS”

Our private taxi return transfer between Faro airport and Albufeira was booked online with Greenbus. On arrival the Greenbus desk was chaotic with lots of customers waiting for long periods in the heat. Eventually our driver appeared but was arguing with the employees at the desk - he seemed to be in a foul mood and stomped ahead of us. We were then subjected to a journey which can only be described as terrifying!! He was tailgating other vehicles at extremely high speeds and constantly used his mobile phone. His impatience caused him to overtake dangerously at a junction which meant we ended going the wrong way. A very bumpy journey through country tracks then ensued until he got back onto the normal route. Due to family illness we had to return home a day earlier than planned. We called the Greenbus emergency hotline to try and rearrange the return transfer. Despite calling this number all day no one answered the phone!! Hardly an emergency hot line - more like a complete joke. We had no alternative but to book another taxi via our hotel which cost 40 euro. Thankfully this driver was a professional and drove very safely. At the airport other travelers were saying that they were left in the lurch when this company did not turn up to take them back to the airport. This company should not be in business - completely useless and unprofessional...

“Warning! Terrible experience of this company”

Because we arrived at the Faro airport at 21:30 and didn't want to wait for up to an hour, we booked and paid for private transport (through one of their partner companies). When we went to the check-in desk we saw about 80 very agitated people most of whom had waited for 2-2.5 hours. I smugly said that we had booked private transport and that our transport would be provided within 10 mins - only to be told that almost everyone had done the same! The people were very angry and were told that there had been a crash on the motorway which was a blatant lie because there were a stream of taxis, car and coaches arriving. I decided to talk very politely to the girl saying that I did not believe there was a crash and was dismayed when she admitted that there wasn't and that was what she was told she had to say. I asked her how often this happened and her response was, "I have only worked for this company for 5 days and it has happened every day. I can not bear it" and then her eyes started to well up! After a wait of 1.5 hours the shuttle coach turned up and the girl suggested that this was our best option, so we got on board and had to go to several stops in Vilamoura before arriving in Albufeira just after midnight. So despite having paid for private transport I ended up on the shuttle coach. I phoned the greenbus office but they simply told me to contact the partner company that I had booked through. The following day I contacted the partner company (shuttledirect) with photographs to prove what had happened and have heard today that they have contacted greenbus who have not responded to them! Both the coach driver and also the return trip driver said that the wait is a regular occurrence because they do not have enough cars for all the people that have booked! Ummm... surely they should only accept bookings for however many cars they have available!!! I will never ever use greenbus again... but also be very cautious because there are a lot of partner companies who are respectable companies. Double check to see which companies use greenbus services!

“If I could give no stars I would!”

I used this 'reputable company' and thought I was getting a great deal, we stayed in Estoi and was flying from Faro. On arrival it was hard to find and there were no instructions on the vouchers that were printed off, when we eventually found it we had a very long wait before we set off. The driver didn't even know where the hotel was! He kept stopping and asking for directions before dropping us off at the bottom of the street and requesting we walk up pointing to the hotel. On return/pick up we waited outside the hotel as advised and no show, I called the emergency line as you did and they said the driver had been, waited 10 minutes and left as we were not there. We were outside the hotel and had we not called we would have not known he had 'already left'. I requested he returned to the hotel and she told me he was apparently already at the airport, even though he had been at the hotel (apparently) 5-10 minutes before? The operator continued to argue with me that he had been there and we were not outside the hotel as advised an after the driver had waited for 10 minutes, he drove off. Between talking to me she was shouting to her colleagues in the room with her and laughing which was making me more frustrated and resulted in me putting the phone down! We had to get a taxi to the airport which cost 25 euros in order to catch our flight, I wont be using them again! After reading other reviews online it has proven that this company is very unreliable and not in any way punctual which is important when catching flights, I suppose with the prices you're paying, you get what you pay for!

“not very reliable”

MY RETURN TRANSFER FROM CABANAS TO FARO AIRPORT WAS LATE SO I PHONE THE EMERGENCY No AS INSTRUCTED,SOMEONE SAID THEY WOULD CHECK WHERE THE DRIVER WAS.AFTER 10 MINS THE OPERATED SAID HE WOULD RING ME BACK IN A 2 MINS. , 10 MINS LATER I PHONE AGAIN WAS TOLD STILL CHECKING WHERE THE DRIVER WAS AND WOULD GET BACK TO ME,5 MINS LATER SOMEONE RUNG BACK AND SAID THE DRIVER WAS STUCK IN TRAFFIC AND WOULD NOT BE COMING AND THAT I WOULD HAVE TO RING A TAXI TO GET ME TO THE AIRPORT, BY THIS TIME I SHOULD HAVE BEEN AT THE AIRPORT EVENTUALLY MANAGED TO GET A TAXI WHICH COST 50 EUROS AND JUST GOT TO THE AIRPORT BEFORE THE CHECK IN CLOSE ,5 MINS LATER I WOULD HAVE MISSED MY FLIGHT AND STUCK AT THE AIRPORT

I also used Green Bus on my holiday, we stayed in Estoi and was flying from Faro. We waited outside the hotel as advised and no show, I called the emergency line as you did and they said the driver had been, waited 10 minutes and left as we were not there. We were outside the hotel and had we not called we would have not known he had 'already left'.
I requested he returned to the hotel and she told me he was apparently already at the airport, even though he had been at the hotel (apparently) 5-10 minutes before?
We had to get a taxi to the airport which cost 25 euros in order to catch our flight, I wont be using them again!

ME AND MY BOYFRIEND GOT A LAST MINUTE DEAL TO PORTUGAL.TRAVEL SOON WAS THE OPERATOR AND GREENBUS WAS THE TRANSPORT. ON THE WAY THERE I WAS THRILLED THE MINI BUS WAS THERE, IT WAS FUL AND WE WERE THE LAST DROP OFF BY MILES. I AM NOT TALKING SAME RESORT EITHER. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A LOT QUICKER IF WE HAD NOT GONE TO OTHER RESORTS FIRST SO REALLY SHOULD HAVE HAD TRANSPORT FOR EACH RESORT. WE WERE TOLD TO CONFIRM THE PICK UP TIME, THE DAY BEFORE COMING HOME, THIS WAS A SATURDAY AND CLOSED SO LUCKILY I DONE THIS ON THE FRIDAY (WHICH I HAD TO PAY THE HOTEL TO DO THIS) THEY SAID 1.15 PICK UP WHICH I THOUGHT WAS LATE AS ON ORIGINAL SHEET IT SAID 12PM. WE WERE TERE FROM 11.50 AND NO SHOW AT ALL, THE RECEPTION STAFF CALLED AND CALLED ALL NUMBERS AND EMERGENCY LINES AND NO ANSWER. BY 1.45 I WAS ALMOST IN TEARS, THE RECEPTIONIST THEN SAID I NEED TO BOOK A TAXI AS WOULD LOSE THE FLIGHT SO WE BOOKED A TAXI WHICH ARRIVED AROUND 2.10 AND PAID AGAIN. ALL I AM ASKING FOR IS MY MONEY BACK FOR THE TAXI AND THEY ARE SAYING NO AS THE SHEET HAD THE HOTEL STAMP ON WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN DONE ANY TIME. THE GUYS ON RECEPTION AGREED AND SAID NO ONE HAD BEEN WE ASKED ALL TRANSPORT THAT ARRIVED AND NON HAD OUR NAMES AND WE RIGHT AT RECEPTION DOOR SO COULD NOT MIS US I AM TOTALLY OUTRAGED BY THIS, IMAGINE A FAMILY WITH O MONEY LEFT OR AN ELDERLY COUPLE. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE !!!!! WILL NEVER USE EITHER TRAVELSOON OR GREENBUS AGAIN.

“Nos Dejaron Tirados sin Transfer”

Hoy 11/05/2015 teniamos concertado el transfer al aeropuerto de Lisboa, a esta compañía , quedaron en recogernos a las 09:20 h am después de 45 ' de espera a la puerta del Hotel intento contactarlos al numero de teléfono que me había indicado el operario de dicha compañía y se suponía de atención 24h tras tres intentos sin éxito incluso me rechazaron la llamada opto por tomar un taxy para llegar a tiempo al vuelo.Por supuesto el transfer lo tenia pagado por adelantado .Noles contratenles dejaran tirados y sin ningún tipo de atencion .Ahora haré la reclamación de mis derechos como viajero que la falta de profesionalidad de esa compañía ma ha usurpado

“Recet transfer Tavira to Faro”

The transport arrived on time; the young driver, who is hoping to study sport at University, was very friendly and he appreciated my speaking to him (partially) in Portuguese about the World Cup. However, the vehicle was a saloon car, and another two passengers were already sitting in the back seat. My wife said that being the third person there was somewhat uncomfortable, with little space. We had 2 large suitcases and 2 flight bags to go into the boot - fortunately the other couple only had flight bags. I do not think that the boot would have been big enough for 4 suitaces, even if we had all the flight bags in the car with us.

“Poor service”

Landed at feutunventura airport last week and it took from time of landing to getting to hotel four hours. Paid extra for max four drop offs but over six drop offs were made. Paid extra for this service and got the same as other people had paid £15 less for after talking to them.

“Need to provide a better service”

Having used this service in May 2013 from Faro Airport and paid an extra fee to arrive at our resort within an hour from the airport. I am very disappointed to state that the resorthoppa did not live up to its expectations. Both my husband and I together with another couple left the hoppa after sitting on it for 1.5 hours, as we had not reached our resort. We were advised by the driver that it would take a further hour to reach our resort. Despite the fact, that once we hired a taxi for the remainder of our journey, it took only 15 minutes to reach our resort. I have mad a complaint via email to resorthoopa Portugal about this instance once I arrived home, and have not even received an apology.
