Holiday taxis is absolutely appalling

I spent 30 minutes on hold before I went on holiday trying to ensure a car seat would be provided for my 1 year old. The reason I wanted to confirm was because 9 months ago we used holiday taxis and, despite booking a child car seat, 2 cars showed up consecutively with no car seat (obviously we told the first car what the problem was so I was astounded when the next one showed up 20 mins later with no seat either.)

This time the car picking us up st the airport was perfect - seat provided. However when booking the return the local company told me there was no car seat on booking and I then had to spend 40 minutes on hold to try to resolve and was assured it would be provided. I then called the local company on the morning of travelling and was again assured a car seat would be there.

The car showed up and didn’t have a car seat. The drivers solution was that he would “drive slowly”. When I phoned the taxi company they said that my one year old should sit on my knee and the driver would drive slowly.

I phoned holiday taxis to complain and the initial person
Said that it wasn’t a call for a manager when I asked to speak to one - I had to remind him that wasn’t his decision to make. I was then on hold for 30 mins and after speaking to the manager he said the complaints manager would call me back if not that day definitely the next - I’m still waiting 3 days later.

The worst company - only use them if you don’t care about your child’s safety. Horrendous customer service as well.
