“Not a good first impression”

I booked a car in advance and provided a 1 hour buffer because I know getting through immigration and waiting for my luggage will take time.

The driver called while I was just out of the plane telling me I was late. How could be late when I just landed and already instructed them to pick me up at a later time?

I was then told to wait for him at the departure area instead of the arrival area near Costa as initially promised.

When I finally met the driver he was still complaining how I was late until I showed him my instruction to pick me up later.

The drive was unpleasant. And when we reached the destination he was still asking for extra payment. He only relented when I told him I will complain.

All in all, an extremely unpleasant experience.
