My son passed away in October 2012, he had flights booked from Perth to Adelaide return for travel in Feb/March 2013. I contacted Jetstar customer service to cancel his tickets and was told they could only talk to the customer or a nominated person which he did not have. I was then informed that I would have to get a power of attorney, which can not be got as the person is already passed away,After seeking legal advise and advising Jetstar of this they reviewed the case and reimbursed the $254.00 for his tickets.Jetstar could have saved a lot of hassel for us if they chose to do the right thing in the first place. Shame on Jetstar for trying to screw a few dollars profit instead of showing some commonsence and respect.
