Islas Airways has taken up competition with Binter canarias- which is very good as there will be some reduction in airfares between the canarian islands. Well for residents of the isles they will get away with a 50% discount anyway- so a full paying customer pays his own and half the residents fare. Most flights are short- between 30-45 minutes so inflight service is restricted to water, juice and sometimes coffee and a snack. unfortunately this is a spanish affair only as you cant really find the flights on search engines- unless you want to use the spanish which has a quite large handling fee anyway. booking on their website is impossible. On my flight from lanzarote to Las pakas they damaged my suitcase. Pics were taken and >>i was told to come back to the airport and deliver the damaged suitcase. Then they would send it to tenerife to be repaired and then i could go to the airport to pick it up when it returned... as if!!!! Clearly the comapnys strategy- make it difficult and let the client pay for something they have damaged. Needless to say that I have had NO response to my complaint and I do not expect to have one either. Islas Airways is a good alternative to Binter- if you could just be able to book online. Just cross your fingers that they will not damage your luggage.
