I've flown Etihad for the last four years; always business class and on average five times a year. In the air there is no doubt they are on a par with Qatar and very few airlines in my experience come close to these two. Where Etihad are let down is in the Guest rewards program; always seems to be a problem with recording air miles earned, very difficult to claim them later without having every single original document (eticket and all boarding passes), outrageous miles redeem levels for flights, totally inept at registering family members, takes six months to send your membership cards through the post.

In summary, a really great airline, but a lousy Etihad Guest reward program.
