It's Cuba, our expectations were adjusted accordingly. Our "Romantic" package started with not being able to get into our room and having to spend the first four hours sitting in the lobby wondering where we would spend the night. Finally we got the last available room, a handicap room ndicap room - two rock hard single beds, nothing in the fridge but a giant block of ice, a lizard, one towel, not clean. My wife spent the first night in tears. We got a regular room in the late afternoon the next day. We only got a couple of the romantic package perks after complaining and even though promised never did get them all. We didn't want to ruin our vacation standing in line with several other irate Transat clients so after a few fruitless attempts at getting what we paid for we just let it go. On returning home we went to our travel agent and through her made a formal complaint to Transat. We wanted compensation for the first day spent in a filthy room. They offered a travel voucher with Air Transat - like we would ever travel with them again.
