Air Canada "lost" my son's luggage, causing us to miss our flight. A reputable airline would have GIVEN A FOOD VOUCHER to us, since we missed a 4:50 p.m. flight and weren't rescheduled until 8:55 (and then moved to 3 different gates and 3 different departure times--without notification of the first change!) We did not even hear an APOLOGY for causing us to miss our flight. Aside from soup, the cheapest thing we found on the menu at the nearest restaurant in the terminal (always expensive) cost $34CDN (2 chicken BLT sandwiches and WATER.) The next day, my son had to pay $8USD parking expenses at our local airport, still searching for his luggage. He was assured he would be called when his luggage was found: he was not; he finally called late afternoon and was told it was here and that he could pick it up (airport traffic hassle, gas expense, parking expense...again) or have it delivered. He chose to have it delivered. It finally arrived 11-11:30 p.m.
