I was travelling with my baby from LAX to Germany and then Spain. The whole trip was, unfortunately, with Air Berlin. I called three times before I bought the ticket to make sure they would return the stroller to me at the gate, since I was travelling by myself and I was carrying the Maxi-Cosi. They assured me they always do, but they were lying to make a sale. I had to get the stroller at baggage claim and cruise airports with the maxi cosi, my baby, a huge diaper bag, and jackets on my arms. Horrible experience!!!
The rudeness of their flight attendants didn't help to make the trip any easier. I had the baby on my arms trying to get him to sleep and asked them, please, to bring my lunch a little later (I couldn't even open my table) when he fell asleep. The answer was "when will that be?" When he did fall asleep and I asked them to get my lunch, they brought it, but completely cold.
Needless to say I'm not flying with them ever again.
