Trilj is Brill:- Adventure Holiday in Croatia

We are a family of three including daughter 16, son 19 and Dad?
We are always looking for adventure and action on holiday. This was certainly supplied in plenty on our week to Trilj in Croatia.
Firstly the man at Green World understood the type of holiday we wanted and took care to match us up with other fun loving explorers we shared our time together with.
On arrival we were greeted by a local of Trilj with excellent English and knowledge of the area (notably the beaches and the bars). She was great fun to be with and looked after us everyday making sure we knew what we were doing and when and ensured we all had a great time.
We stayed at the family run Hotel sv Mihovil a place with character matched by the friendliness of the staff, quality of the food and cleanliness of the rooms. In short nothing was too much bother for them including serving pancakes everyday for breakfast.
The best bit was however the activities and the guides. These were always safe, professional and well organised.
Our favourite days were the cannoning, rafting and cycling where the excitement levels were at the highest.
For us and our fellow holiday goers, we frequented the plentiful bars in Trilj every night and felt safe and welcomed in each one we went too.
Lastly the most unexpected pleasure was Croatia. Not having been before we found it to be a largely unspoilt and country despite the growing tourism. The river gorges and beaches were particularly impressive. Everywhere was clean and although they are a little cautious the Croatians are friendly and attentive to you. Certainly will be returning to visit again.
