This is a superb quality budget guitar, i've played more expensive models and hard pushed to find any sound difference up to around £400, only downside for me was the tuner, found it to be a little fiddly ie quite jumpy. the sound without being plugged in is bright and vibrant for an nex style is quite suprising, plugged in it sounds great too the bass notes do not drown out the treble tones all in all Takamine have produced a little gem

Suberb guitar by Takamine, solid spruce top gives depth of sound with Mahogany back and sides and rosewood neck and frett board. It looks gorgeous in Natural with its different wood colours and gloss finish. The Abalone inlay around the sound hole and frett board which is a real eye catcher.
The sound is crisp yet mellow and really rich, wether its plugged in or not, the built in tuner is an added bonus especially at a gig. It comes with top strings and a really good playing action.
I paid £249.00 for it, i know they are slightly cheaper but i use my local guitar shop Steven James Guitars just for peace of mind just incase anything gos wrong, cant see it though as this is made to phenominal standards, there is no visible glue marks inside and the structure is a work of art.
I think this is at the high end of the cheaper electric acoustic guitar range and easially challenges any guitar up to £350 easy, all i can say is thankyou to the guys and gals at Takamine.
