“strong of odour of cream”

★★★★☆

The cream is indeed very effective as I have used it to treat black heads on my nose. But I started getting irritation in my sinus after 6days of application on my nose. Anybody got same problem?

“Sensitive skin”

★★★★☆

written by britishgal on 03/11/2014

I first started using Quinoderm 10 around 2 years ago. I have always suffered from bad acne and breakouts since i was around 11. I have always wore a fair amount of makeup, which didnt make my skin any better but i had strong anxiety issues about the state my skin was in. When i started to use Quinoderm 10 it took around a week for results to show properly. The cream made my skin very dry to the point it was flakey, but that was easily resolved with a small amount of E-45 cream or Simple facial moisturiser being applied daily. The results were amazing, the cream works quick and very effectively. Like someother reviews i also have a burning sensation when the cream is first applied but it soon calms down after a few minutes of tingling. I would reccomend to anyone who has bad acne breakouts as long as they never had too sensitive skin and used moisturisers before and after.

“Very good, once your skin is used to it”

★★★★☆

written by ocRose490 on 02/09/2014

I have been using Quinoderm 10 for about 2 weeks. I have always had acne, and recently it's been getting worse and I'm nearly 30! Have used all doctor prescribed solutions including zineryt and antibiotic courses and the pill. My doctor so far won't refer me to a dermatologist. This cream dried put my skin and yes it does get red and peely. But within a week my skin was used to it (moisturiser helps) and now it does seem to be helping a huge amount. I am going to keep it up for as long as it seems to be working! So if you start using it, be prepared for some initial redening and dryness and use moisturiser on these areas. But stick to it and hopefully it will help! Also, if you apply before bed sleep on a white pillowcase or a towel as it does bleach fabrics!

“A miracle”

★★★★★

written by on 16/08/2014

I have had acne for almost 7 years now, and i have tried every product under the sun. From free derm to clearasil to simply washing my face with warm water, nothing stopped it. However this seems to be the only product with the crucial benzyl peroxide in it. And it has worked a treat! It is the second day of me using it and no word of a lie, my spots are meerly dots on my face and trust me they were the size of 5 pence pieces. Anyone who can complain about the burning sensation giving it a bad review need to jog on because it us exactly the same concept as a tightening sensation when having braces. As tightening of the teeth indicates they are straightening, it is the same with the burning feeling. It just shows that quinoderm works. And it does, it really does.

I have been using this cream for 2 weeks, its the first acne cream I have ever bought, its the 2nd lump on my face in 8 years, I believe its acne as just got the implant in my arm and think its caused it, the cream burns as soon as I put it on and all my skin dried and got flaky around the area, I stopped using it then started again after the dried skin went away, it is working and I think id rather suffer dry skin then acne lumps, good luck with the cream! “Best cream I've ever used”

★★★★★

written by Paityn10 on 08/03/2014

I used this cream first to see if anything happened, and it didn't so i carried in using it. But after a couple of days of using the cream my skin dried up and started to peel, it obviously burnt my skin. However i just kept on using the cream and after a few days it went down and my skin is amazing and nearly cleared up fully. I FULLY recommend this cream

“Painful sore red skin!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Lou73 on 17/12/2013

I don't suffer with a lot of spots normally but when I did I purchased this cream without being questioned by the chemist. After 2 days my skin was so red and felt burnt. A blistering type rash appeared. I would not recommend this cream. I hope my skin isn't damaged.

“Causes rash and dryness”

★☆☆☆☆

written by marilenat on 11/09/2013

I have had a breakout for a couple of months so the pharmacist recommended quinoderm 10. I did the allergy test and nothing happened. I tried it and the first day it looked like it was working. On the second day i started to have lumps on my skin and dryness. By the 3rd day a rash spread to my entire face ans neck. The pharmacist said I should stop using it and so I did. Two days later and the rash is even worst even though i have been taking anti allergic pills. Whatever you do, DON'T apply the cream everywhere.

Just reAd your review 4 days too late! I've had exactly the same thing happen to me :( I don't even get that many spots but used it for a quick fix. Can you tell me how long it took to go away?! Why did you do? I've taken anti allergy today.

“Quinoderm Antibacterial Facewash”

★★★★★

written by Claudinehxx on 27/06/2013

I fist started to use Quinoderm Antibacterial Facewash around 2 years ago when i started to get a lot of spots which then turned in to a form of Acne. I found even after using this wash, my spots started to dry out as little as 3 days and within 2 weeks, my skin had practicably cleared up. The only downfall i would say is that is dries your skin so you need to use a non greasy moisturiser to balance it out. I would recommend anyone with acne prone skin as this will give you clear skin in no time.

I used this for less then a week and my acne is nearly all gone. Makes your skin very dry but worth it you can always use dry skin cream.

“Best Treatment Yet!”

★★★★★

written by on 23/04/2013

I have been using this cream as part of my daily skin care ritual for a few days and so far, the results are great. The comedones, blemishes and pimples around my chin and cheek area are pretty much gone; just the redness remains. Quinoderm has a quite strong scent to it(not pleasant) but it's not exactly something I can't cope with. It also tingles/burns a little bit when first applied to the skin but the sensation fades after a couple of minutes. What else can you expect with acne treatment, though? I would recommend not to use too much of this product as many people (that also use Quinoderm) have told me this can lead to irritation on the skin; such as a rash. Overall, great product! I hope it never gets discontinued.

“Please think carefully before using Quinoderm”

★★☆☆☆

written by AmazingSmile on 17/04/2013

First of all I brought this product because I read so many reviews that it worked. Yes it does work but with bad side effects, say goodbye to acne but say hello to severe dry skin that no make up in the world can cover up, flaky skin and tightness plus redness. Even if you do the test behind your ear it won't prepare you for the amount of damage it does to your face. My spots were pretty bad enough for me to try Quinoderm but I've never had dry skin it feels like I've been under the sun all day. My face looks cracked I've stopped using the product but I now how to pray that my face heals I'd choose spots over this burnt, dry and cracked looking face anyday. I'm glad it's worked for a lot of people but please think about any other option first than using this.

“Don't listen to bad reviews!”

★★★★☆

written by on 30/01/2013

Before using Quinoderm, I did a lot of reserach and to be perfectly honest - I was scared off! I had the bottle sitting in my room for atleast 3 months. As my acne go increasingly worse and I started to feel like I had tried every wash, cream and tablet on the planet, I decided to give it a try. It is easy to apply, doesn't have an extremly horrible smell and although stings a little, WORKS WONDERS! Of course it dries your skin - that's how the spots are 'dried out' and banished. It is a strong cream so it's worth trying out on a small patch of skin first to see if you react well. Cheap, easy and works - honestly worth trying. And please do not give up hope on bad acne. Time will clear it up and stressing about it will only make it worse.

“Good But Strong”

★★★☆☆

written by on 13/01/2013

I have been using for the past month or so the quinoderm antibacterial facewash in conjunction with the topical cream with bonzoyl peroxide, as soon as I introduced this topical cream I really started to see results, my skin lost a lot of redness, a lot of my blemishes became smaller, some disappeared! But then I found I was applying it to blemishes that were not actually spots or zits and it just caused irritation. Also parts of my skin that ARE suffering with acne started to feel very dry and almost burnt. I've been applying Elave which has helped to alleviate this dryness and burning buy yesterday I took a break from all creams, chemicals, makeup, and I took a walk in the fresh air and drank a lot of fresh water and my skin looks so much better now. I would really advise anyone using these creams to take a day break, allow your skin to breathe! it'll thank you. Also get plenty of sleep, fresh air, and water, and if your doctor will prescribe it try an antibiotic to tackle your acne from within too.

“Quinoderm Cream worth paying for”

★★★★☆

written by on 09/06/2012

I have used Quinoderm Cream for the first time and it really works. New spots have'nt appeared which is great. The only bad thing I would say about it, is that it drys your skin up and makes it a little red at times. Aslong as you keep your skin moist, you should be fine. I would def recommend this cream to anyone that has spots.

“Quinoderm Acne Cream 5% - best I have ever tried”

★★★★★

written by danielcraiden on 10/08/2011

This definitely works. I have tried almost everything there is over the counter and nothing worked. Freederm - more expensive then this and din't work for me at all, Clearasil-worked to certain degree, Acne sticks-just calmed the spots, but made them very red. Quinoderm really clears the skin of spots, does take time thought, about a week or so and makes them very red and the skin get bit irritated but new spots don't appear again!

“ I read online reviews on Quinoderm cream and it...”

★☆☆☆☆

written by jenthom72 on 04/11/2010

I read online reviews on Quinoderm cream and it seemed like the solution to my very spotty problem. My skin is usually quite clear with the occasional spot, but when I got a major break out and tea tree and witch hazel didn't work, I knew I needed to try something new. I opted for the 5mg one as I was worried the stronger version would be too strong for my skin. I did the behind the ear test, where you put a little drop behind your ear and wait 24 hours to see if it caused a reaction. It didn't and I started to use the cream.

I applied it thinly to the troublesome areas and massaged it in as instructed. I did this twice a day (according to the instructions you can use it three times a day). After the first day my skin started to get a bit red. After the second day it was very red. After the third day my skin was so dry it felt like old leather and was very tight and itchy. The worst spots on my face were still there. I stopped using it and after a day my face was still very red, extremely dry and very itchy. I had to put E45 cream on to stop the itching, which was driving me mad. I have now stopped using the cream completely.

I did expect my face to be a bit dry and red - it warns you about that on the packaging - what I did not expect is my face to feel like I've just had a chemical peel. Note - that's even with me moisturising several times a day using a good quality dermatological cream.
