To keep the temperature of my 3L surf in control I had a new radiator made by an Australia radiator manufacture with the automatic oil cooler moved to the right (left looking at front) this allows the water to leave the radiator without the oil cooler restricting the flow as it does using the original radiator.
I have intention of increasing the turbo boost after logging under bonnet, engine, turbo as well as oil temperatures. Will let you know of any progress.
