Nice reliable jap 4x4, had mine 18 months, solid underneath, almost like new, with 80k. 4x4 system fine off road, but a bit dissapointind on road. Sensible alternative to landrover, 3.2 petrol does 26mpg 3.5 landrover did around 14! Everything works on the trooper, engine quite punchy. 3dr cramped in back, but fine for 2 adults and 2 kids. Plenty out there at reasonable prices.

My girlfriend's 89 Isuzu Trooper is the best off road Machine i have ever rode in she took me to a 20 foot stright up and down bank and went up it, jumped it at the top of the bank and cleard the top about 5 feet of the ground. landed so hard my ack hearts now would buy one my self.

I just bought my 94 Isuzu Trooper 4x4 offroader-it's awesome, with 97k miles on it-the only problem with it so far is the front tires, I need new ones. Apparently the person who owned it before got a kick out of makin crazy sharp turns (which it handles great) so the inner part is really worn-and the alignment is a little off but that should be fixed in no time-other than that, love the car. My last car was a mitsubishi eclipse and from that to a trooper is insane the room inside of the thing is incredible. gotta love-oh and guys-sorry to say but "I don't have a sunroof"!!! :( anyway-liking the car so far.
Can anyone else list anything that you think I would have to be replacing soon???
