I have heard of many people with the same problem, my remote doesnt work with my TV (32PW6516). It works when it feels like it! Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Do the remotes clash with others or is it a hardware problem

Sounds like the remote has become faulty and will have to get a replacement for your TV, but have you checked the metal spiral connections to the battery and you could try a little WD40 on them just in case because it sounds weird but sometimes that's all it needs or otherwise it will no doubt be needing a replacement remote and you could search for one at the following;

They only list the remote for 32pw6506 & amp; 32pw6526

They only list closest match to your TV as 32pw6505, 32pw6515, 32pw6526, but no 32pw6516 and therefore you may need to contact Philips customer service via the above website for assistance in tracking down a replacement remote. -

I have this same problem but it is not the remote. If the tv is switched off at the power for about an hour then on again the remote will work for about 5 minutes - but the top buttons on the set don't work either when it goes wrong. It seems to be when the set warms up
