    From Cheshire,

Has anybody else had probs with directline or is it just me, my car was stolen on boxing day and recovered 2 days later. I passed all the details to my appointed claims advisor, who promptly forgot about them, the car was recovered intact by the police so I thought it would be straight forward, WRONG. In the past 4 weeks I have had to telephone them 15 times with the location of the car and the contact details of the police officer.

They have phoned me twice throughout this nightmare.

I tried to lodge a complaint only to be told we don`t actually have a complaints department I can only talk to my claims advisor, who has caused all this trouble.

I still havn`t got my car back, any ideas?
