Did you get any replies to your question or did you figure out what the problem was? I had the same problem today on the same model and cannot figure out what it means.

This means it's broken. Mine did this after 6 months, was replaced by toshiba and has now done it again 8 months after the replacement. It could be any problem but the unit shuts down to avoid any further damage.

    Not Happy.

    Sorry.

Mine also did this, 2 weeks after the warranty ran out. Toshiba are replacing it though, which is good. They say it's likely that the memory chip has become corrupted.

I also had the same problem 8 months after I purchased it. I beleive Toshiba should replace these at no extra cost since the problem appears to be global.
