navigation help plz

hi!!i have got navigation system which only for 3600/3700/3800/3900 series of compaq ipaq only and i am intersetd in buying hp ipaq5550. can i use that navigation system on this series or if not than if i buy compaq ipaq 3870 than will it give the same performance as ipaq 5550. 3870 is GBP200 on amazon.co.uk....kindly advice...thanku
