I have just ordered Easy Straight hair straightening system. I have not recieved it yet, but ever since I put in my order, I've heard nothing but terrible things about it. I just wanted to see if anyone has used it and if so, what were your results. It would be a great help to me. I was skeptical buying a $30.00 product like this in the first place now I am really afraid to try it.

Don't use it. It ruins your hair. TRUST ME. My hair was actually nice before. Now it's dried out, damaged and I have to chop it off.

Yes, please don't use it. I've lost about 35% of my hair due to breakage from using this product. Save yourself from the emotional breakdown that I'm having.

I just used it 4/18/04 and I wasn't happy with the results but it didn't damage my hair. I contacted the customer service for EasyStraight and they are sending me another kit for free. They told me that I might have misdiagnosed my hair. They also told me that the next time I use it to call a straightening expert. Also she told me that if I'm not confortable doing it, that I could possibly bring it to my salon and the stylist will do it for me. They also have a video on the website that shows you step-by-step on how to do this process yourself. I find that they have been very helpful.

I used easystraight in Jan. and was nervous at first because my hair has been salon straightened twice, and the results have been dry hair, and bad roots after regrowth. However, 5 months later, my hair is still shiny, managable and looks better than it ever has. It used to take me about one hour to blow dry and straighten my hair with my iron. My hair was frizzy thick, basically just unmanagable. The product cut the time to do my hair in half and i have not used my straightening iron since!(something that my hair stylist says is a very good thing!) It only takes me about 20 minutes to completely blowdry my hair now. Being a college student, this saves me a lot of time in the morning and is basically just awesome. I would reccommend this product to anyone in a heartbeat! I'm not sure why so many of you have had negative experiences with it, however the only thing i can think of is that you misdiagnosed your hair. I called my hair stylist before i used the product and she told me my hair was fine to medium where as I would have diagnosed my hair as coarse(the difference between processing times for these is almost 15 minutes!) So, perhaps that is what happened to some of you. I can't believe that my hair is fine, when it seems so thick, but i guess the stylist knows best. It would be wise to contact your hair salon, or i guess even the company because thats what they say on the website before using. I have urged some of my friends at school and even my mother who has the same hair to try the product and they have all had the same amazing results i have! Congrats to the creators of this product, this has changed my hair, and my life and made me feel more confident about looking nice and having the type of hair that i've always wanted! try it, but do it CORRECTLY and i bet you'll have the same results as i did!

OMG!!!! Please do NOT use that stuff!!!!! I used it and now have a shoulder length pile of overprocessed straw for hair...overprocessed to the point of 'have to cut it off' dead...there's no way to nurse mine back to health..and believe me, I've been trying to rescue it for 2 monthes now! Just buy a Jilbere ceramic wand-$40.-and occasionally enjoy straight hair!

Please do not use EasyStraight! Return it and get your money back!!! I just used this product on july 4, 2004 and have lost about 20-30 percent of my hair, 5 days later. It is breaking off at the scalp and nothing stops it!! their customer service tells you to use infusium or john frieda conditioner, but it does nothing to stop the breakage or hair loss. In years past I have used products that were harsh, but nothing ever caused the damage this product has!!! I feel like vomiting I am so sick about losing my shoulder length hair. I am not kidding when I say I think I am going to have to buy a wig, there is a chance I could lose all of my hair! You cannot repair your hair shafts once this product has been used. If your hair is fine or color treated I can promise you that you will lose your hair!! This product is horrible!! I am surprised this company has not been sued yet or maybe they have and I just don't know it!!!

There are so many boards with people who have been having problems with this product. I used it and my hair is falling out and I have sores on my scalp. Think I posted that before.
Anyhow, a lot of the victims wanted to get an idea of how many people are having problems with this product. There is a short poll out now if you wouldn't mind checking it out and passing it around.

I didnt'd have any problems with EasyStraight. I took a chance at walgreen's as I am not fond of cheap products. Surprisingly, I had a wonderful experience with the product and am concerned that this product has recieved so much bad attention. I dont use any product or color-treaet my hair. Maybe that is the problem. I just wanted to say that I love EasyStraight. I has reduced my time for getting ready by at least 20 minutes a day. EasyStraight worked well for me and am glad to be rid of my flat-iron. My hair actually seems much more healthy since using EasyStraight. Sorry to all those with problems!

Does any one know what the ingredients are? I can't believe its good for you, I sometime use a ceramic straightener, never harsh chemicals (well not any more), we all seem to care about what we eat and forget about the stuff we put on our bodies, if someone can let me know what’s in it. I will look up the chemicals and let you know how bad it is, I always buy natural products now after a really bad case of skin disorders.
