Although turkish prices have shot up you can get steak for about 12TL and wine usually if u get a good deal is one of the things they say you can have free to lure you into the restaurants. YOu will find that the prices of restaurants along the beach are higher than ones in town so you need to look around before you stop. hope this helps and have a great trip.

    You're welcome.

Have a great time. If you visit the A'lora beach bar at anytime (it's fairly easy to find, the only one with hammocks, sofas and beds on the sea front) tell the staff you have spoken to Dave Charisma the DJ from England!

    Very Happy
I will def visit the beach bar sounds wounderful!and tell them I have spoken to you, thanks for all your advice its been very helpful!! take care karen Very Happy

hi can anyone tell me if they have stayed in the Paloma Hotel. Before i booked i saw some reviews that were good,i thought i would have another look yesterday and found a couple that were pretty bad!little bit concerned about what i have read, as i am pregnant and several people claim they have had food poisioning from there.
if anyone has stayed there recently i would be really grateful for your views. cheers Paula Shocked

    You're very welcome Karen.

Look out for the barman who looks like Ryan Giggs in A'lora's and the one called Onur. don't arm wrestle him, he cheats! Very Happy

Have great time. Keep well. Dave

    Hi Danny

If you want an informed and knowledgable person on all things to do with the Bodrum peninsular, including Gumbet, then I'd recommend contacting Nilgun Sonmez. She has her own website Management Agent and I really recommend her.
