Ford KA - engine trying to stall when pulling off(1 Messages)

    Dear all

    I have a 98 Ford KA.

    There is a problem when accelerating from engine idle where the engine seems as if it wants to stall, then struggles a bit (for about a second) before the revs increase. This problem occurs when in nuetral aswell as when in gear.

    It is baffling me and will be grateful of any suggestions. I havent tried to fix it yet becuase i thought i'd see if anyone had any suggestions as to the cuase.
