Pay T-lock (sagem myV-65)

I purchased a Sagem myV-65 mobile phone in the UK, and have since moved to Malaysia, the phone will not work here, SOLELY. because it has been locked to the Vodafone UK network. Can any forum advisors help me out here, as to whether the phone can be reprogrammed? Are there any sites that users may be aware of to save be having to buy a new phone, despite the fact that the same phone can be bought here at a ridiculous price. Thanks for any help
