Hi we are going on our first cruise this year and wondered if anybody had advise on what clothes to take for children. We cruise in June round the med and hopefully it will be warm -but are children expected to wear long dresss trousers for the evening meals, or will it be acceptable for them to wear shorts and Tshirts?

This depends on which cruise line you are with and the age of the children.

Best thing to do is to ring the head office of the cruise liner you are going on, (you needn't tell them your real name if you are embarrassed) and they will be able to tell you.

Sorry I couldn't help further BUT, upon your return would you please give your opinion of your trip. We have been thinking about taking a cruise for years but have never gone on and done it. So any response would be helpful.

    Cheers

Most cruises are lower key than they used to be years ago-problably take a couple of posh dresses and the same as a normal holiday

The best thing to do is find the RIGHT cruise specialist who can answer these questions for you based on experience. I recommend Caribbean Cruises. They have been in business for over 10 years and they KNOW cruises. They are tops when it comes to advice and finding the best promotions.

It's okay for you Gaynor to say take a couple of posh frocks but being a guy they just don't look right on me!! Very Happy
