In england you can buy from health shops a roll on mosquito repellant called "Mosquito Milk". Its much like a roll on deodrant size with the roll on ball. All you do is run it down your arms and legs a couple of times and they stay away.
Another way is to take 3 weeks before going Vitamin B2 and garlic capsules every day, including while your there. It works on the basis that when you perspire you will give off an odour that mosquitos don't like. Don't worry humans can't smell it so you won't be the outcast at the bar.
