Although it says that wma files are supported by this player, I cannot get them to play! I have tried downloading them from wm player 9 and dragging and dropping. The wmas will transfer but aren't recognized by the player as the display reads 00 and nothing will play! RCA customer service has not been able to help me with this. I have re-formatted my player and it is set on FAT32. Any suggestions????

    Thanks.

I also have a RCA Lyra 1070 player and had issues with getting Windows Media to work with my player. This is how I got my *.wma files to play on my RCA player. In Windows Media, go to Tools and then Options. In Options, there is a tab labeled Copy Music. When you click that tab, you should be Copy protect music with a box in front of it. Make sure that this box is empty. If there is a check in this box, Windows Media is copy protecting the *.wma files that you are copying from a CD to your computer -- and then you can not copy them into your player. I had to recopy all the files that I had on my computer that I wanted to put on my player. When I put them on my player, they worked just fine. I hope this helps! Smile
