1998: Acceleration noise(1 Messages)

    1998 Honda Civic Sedan:

    When engine is started cold, there is a rattle during acceleration until the engine warms up.

    Honda dealer says the engine must be replaced which is an expensive repair. The mileage on the car is 79000Km.



    Is there a recall for this model or is this repair necessary?
