I have been having the same problem ith the battery on this phone. It says that it has charged after a small amount of time. It also has switched itself off 4 times now and will not sturn back on unless you take the battery out and put it back in. the phone is only a few weeks old and already having problems with it. I wonder if the problem is the battery and not the actual phone. can anyone else let me know if they come across the same problem Laughing

Sorry not come across that yet. Contact motorola or vodafone they should help you.

as regards to buying the fone. i link the design of the fone its great and fancy. I still get the phone switching itself off from time to time which is really annoying but I can't part with it to get it fixed. Im going to have to though as the problem is not going away.

The phone is good and its got loads of features and pretty easy to use. I think that motorola should be mixing these phones if the majority are bing sold with the same battery problems. they should be in perfect condition esp with the price of them. But overall its a good phone

I don't know, but I'd have thought this would be something to do with your network rather than your phone. Have you tried ringing them?

    Hi,
I really need some help, I'm buying a new mobile soon and am thinkin of the V525 but i need to now whether the recorded voice tags get played back when you cycle through your phone book/contact list. strange u might say, but i'm visually impaired and find it difficult to read the screen properly. So u can see how the above functionality is helpful to me, so i can go though my phone book and it says the name of the person. if u cud let me know it would be brilliant.

OK. I tried. I can't take anymore! Crying or Very sad
I bought a V525, had it unlocked and am now using on an O2 sim. I took the good advice given above and visited the mouse2mobile site and did the downloading. I have set the O2 GPRS as the default in 'web sessions' and I *still* can't send or receive pictures and photographs. What *am* I doing wrong? Confused

    *Please* help me!

The GPRE settings are for connecting to the WAP etc. If you want to send and recieve picture messages, you need the MMS (Media message settings) sent to your phone.
