I know that this question has been asked a million times, but thought I would ask one last time. I own the Walther cp99 trophy air pistol, and just now realized that there is a silencer available for it. I've spent the afternoon shopping around and have come to the conclusion that the silencer is only available in the UK and no one will ship to the U.S. Does anyone know of a place where I can find one, and can be shipped here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You cant buy silencers in Canada or the USA. They are banned. Reason is that the authorities think that people could adapt them to fit real guns which is definitly illigal. Since they are banned in Canada and USA you cant import them period. The only option is to build one yourself but if you get stopped by the po po youll have some explaining to do.

False replies, Silencers are available legally in the U.S.A. but they are a taxed item regulated by the U.S.B.A.T.F.
One must apply for the tax stamp to own one and be photographed and fingerprinted and undergo a backround check and wait six months to a year, plus submit $200.00 in U.S. funds and your home will be inspected yearly.
I just wish people wouldst check their facts before taking a large breath and speaking.
Try typing batf.org or just B.A.T.F. in your search engine of choice.
As for Canada I couldn't say.

actually, what he says is fact until the yearly inspection. as for that, no comment. Laughing

they are not functional suppressors. there are holes drilled thru the body so gas just escapes out, just like any other dress-up suppressor. i'm told by here, though, if you tape up these holes it becomes functional! Shocked

doesnt look like theres any other way as of now to get one in the USA., other than buying that whole set.
what site in the U.K. is selling the comps alone?

Why do you have to jump down his throat when he talks? Does it answer the question? No

Silencers can be posessed in the US but as said there is a certain 'licence' that has to be attained with background checks and $200. I don't live in the US so I can't give fully accurate answers but I do know that much.

You'll have more than some explaining to do...

Owning an unregistered suppressor is a class 2 or class 3 felony depending on where you live...

    streaks, you are wrong.

    Field Shooter is right.

streaks, you are living in a dream world. Your country is far far away from freedom. Just go and ask local Police Station. They will give the same information as Field Shooter.
