I want to order this product, but I don't know if I should waste my money. If you have tried this and love it or hate it, please write your review.

    Any advice is appreciated.

Yes, I have tried it. I've been dealing with very curly hair all my life and I'm a sucker for anything that says it will "smooth" or "straighten" without chemicals. I've got a cabinet full of useless products to prove it. This is stuff is awesome!! It's easy to do at home yourself and doesn't damage color treated hair. It will lighten your color treated hair one shade, though, so watch for that. I now color my hair one shade darker before I use this product to get the right tone. It doesn't make your hair stick straight if you have very very curly hair, but it does take about 80% of the curl out and best of all, it keeps it straight whether it's drizzling or foggy outside. That was a first for me!! They say it lasts for 8 weeks, but I found that I need to re-do it after about 6. Well worth the money, but don't order it direct from the Straight to the Maxx people. Their customer service is terrible!! I hear Wal-Mart and Target now carry it so that's the best option. Good luck!!

I've been struggling with my very curly hair for years and have a cupboard full of products claiming to "smooth" and "straighten" my hair. Lots of wasted money. But this stuff is great!! It takes about 80% of the curl out (more if your hair is less curly to begin with) and it does what it says it will when it's raining or drizzling outside. It stays straight and does not get frizzy! Finally!!!! Watch out though, because it will lighten your hair one shade so I just colour it one shade darker to allow for that. If you can, stay away from a lot of bleach in your colour because they say it can damage bleached hair. Without the bleach though, there is no damage to speak of and it lasts 6 weeks (not the 8 they claim). But it's a keeper!!! I've used it twice already and my hairstylist can't believe how soft and straight my hair is.

I absolutely LOVED this product! I have extremely fine thin curly hair. I like my curls but I like to blow my hair straight. I can't usually doing that in the summer months because south Louisiana is so humid. This product straightened my hair - bone straight - and kept it from frizzing in the humidity. I also loved the fact that it eventually wears out because I like my curls and didn't want to lose them permanently as would happen with a cream relaxer. I don't know what these folks did differently, by I used it more than once (2 summers in a row), and it behaved the same way each time. No hair loss, no breakage. Unfortunately, I can't find it anywhere now. If any one knows where I can purchase just the straightener, please advise. Thanks! Very Happy
