Card Not Initialized???

Thank you so much i was able t farmat by card. I have a fine pix E550 fujifilm camera and I just bought a 2 gb memory card. I had the same problem as everone else. I saw your comment formated the card. Thanks!!!

I have Fujifilm Finepix A350 5.2 mp.
and that same thing is happening.
i reformatted my camera like people suggested.
but when its done, it just says "Card Error"
ive tried different batteries, and theres a perfectly good 256 mb memory card in it.
any suggestions??

Just a thought, and it could be a typo, but you said you formatted your camera, I've found usually that formatting the card on a card reader works better to get it working, then you can re-format using the cameras format facility. Typically, you can read the wrong format on your computer, so it will appear to be a good card, but your camera still wont read it. Don't forget to make sure it is FAT not NTFS format. Hope this helps.
