I wonder if anybody could help me with a problem I have with my Pacific 1000 DVD player bought from Asda about 3 months ago.
It seems that the audio output on DVD's is incredibly low, so much so that I find that I have to turn up the volume on my television to about three quarters of the way before the volume is comfortable and even then it needs to be put up a few more notches. I have the volume on my player at 15 (maximum) and was wondering if anybody else experiences the same problem or is it a fault with my player.
I have also connected a pair of external PC speakers (with internal amp) and again finding that I have to wind up the amp to get a good amount of sound.
Output of CD-Audio and MP3 is also low although output on VCD and SVCD is a lot better.
Any Ideas
