1994 Civic Rev Limiter(2 Messages)

    Hey Guys!

    Do NE of U know if the Honda Civic 1.5 LSi has a rev limiter and if it does, at what RPM does it kick in? Missed a gear on mine 2day and red lined!!! Thanx,

    Hi,

    I've got a 94 Si coupe (EX in the U.S.), and yes, it does have a rev limiter. My tach redline is 7200 rpm and the limiter kicks in at 7300-7400 rpm.

    I wouldn't worry about it if you redlined once or twice, as Honda's love the high revs!! Smile
