Dear customers, I’ve opened this forum over a year ago to help you with dishwasher related problems of the Bosch/Siemens/Neff/Constructa brands. I don’t get paid or anything, just enjoy helping others with these particular kind of problem. You might even post Washing machine problems or questions and I will do my best to help you with advice.
When you do any repairs on your machines, be very careful with electricity and if you are a-technical, please don’t overestimate your own skills and make things worse.
Please understand that it is not easy for someone else to know what you are trying to say if you don’t come up with a maximum amount of details regarding your specific problem.
Just some hints to establish what problem your dishwasher has. Before stating your dishwashers fault ask yourself these questions:
- has the device finished its cycle ?
- when it has; has the cycle taken significantly longer or shorter as usual ?
- when it hasn’t, what is it doing right now (when switched on)?
- have you noticed something unusual e.g. noise ?
- when it doesn’t seem to drain, is the remaining water clean or dirty ?
- does the cycle dry (providing rins-aid container is full ?
-when it gets stuck in its cycle, what does it do when it stops e.g. drainpumping, humming, nothing but full of water, empty but with some kind of humming in the background
If you have an urgent question, contact me on dragonfly@zeelandnet.nl send me all available details and if possible a photograph.
Best Regards,

You will need one screwdriver TORKX 20, looks sort of like an allenkey but different.
First disconect the dishwasher from the mains, open the door and undo 3 srews on either side of the door than gently start pulling away the door from the bottom. Once this has been removed, take all srews out the top panel, clip away the plastib bits look what you do and u can take the unit away and open it and check the big part circuitboard, not the small part with the microswitches. Soldering is not always a good option, its recommended to replace the circuit board.
Good luck -

Siemens dishwasher problem:
Hi I have a siemens dishwasher model SE25230FF from 1998, which has developed problems. First about a month ago it would not fill with water to start the cycle. I took off the side panels and prodded around a bit, and re plugged it in and it worked. Now after a couple of weeks of not great cleaning results, its worse. It sometimes showed an error & quot;F & quot; at the end of the cycle. It seemed to get stuck in a cycle, and no clean water was coming in, just the pump turing away on empty. I checked the water inlet valve, and even replaced it with one from a working dishwasher of the same type, and water comes in ok. Problem now is every time the machine is turned on, the water runs in, fills to a certain level where the float touches the microswitch, then the waste valve opens and the clean water is pumped out, this repeats, oscillating back and forth with fresh water coming in.
I did a machine reset, but this didn't change things.
I know that the pump works, the inlet valve works, the float and switch seem to work, and
the solenoid valve for the drain opens when given 220 Volts. Perhaps this is a control module problem ??. One thing is the machine is plumbed to use cold water, not sure if that is correct, but the house was set up that way when we bought it.
Thanks for any help,

Hi Keith, your dishwasher fills with water but in your case this water doesn't empty into the actual dishwasher-tank fast enough.
This is eminent from the fact that whilst filling, the micro switch safety is beeing triggered. Take a good look at how the water runs into the dishwasher-tank and you will find a white transparant plastic pipe running into the dishwasher tank you will find this pipe absolutely blocked.
Succes, let me know how you get on with it. -

Hi there Jan, thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately it is not the problem, I checked the pipe going into the dishwasher and it is clean, free of obstructions. The water runs in ok, and fills the bottom of the dishwasher without problem, its when it gets full that the float activates the microswitch, and the drain pump turns on, and forces water out. Then the float goes down, more water comes in, and the cycle repeats (with a rapid interval of 5 seconds or so, water in, water out), and this just continues. I think its at this point where the machine should normally try to heat the water, and the pump should run the water inside the machine, not pump it out! It certainly it should not be doing what it is!
Thanks for any help!

Dear Jan!
I have a constructa dishwasher 1 year old model 330s2. The timer stops at the start of washing. To finish the cycle, I turned the timer manualy to rinse. Then the cycle is continued and finished
What is the problem, where is the thermostat? How do I find the heating element? What will be the way to open the machine? I am an electronic eng. so I have some idea.
Thanks,ury dym -

Dear Jan,
My two-year old Bosch Logixx dishwasher (SGS66A02GB/13) has just been visited by a Bosch engineer to clear out a blockage in the sump drain-hose. However, now we are pumping out properly we see that there's another problem in that, mostly but not always, the machine does not fill up with any water, or sometimes not enough. The result is that the machine either just dribbles water from the spray-arms, or just wheezes away to itself pumping air instead of water from the spray-arms. Whenever the problem occurs I have taken to adding 4 or 5 litres of (filtered) water directly into the wash compartment and this allows the cycle to complete. However, as this problem occurs two or three times on each wash this is a very tedious process. I have run the machine with the side panel removed and can see that the filling matrix sometimes fills up completely (and then the wash works), but sometimes does not (and then it dribbles or wheezes). There seems to be enough mains pressure, and the mains inlet filter appears to be clear. Any advice would be gratefully received.
Sincerely,
Paul Barrow -

Dear Jan,
Hopefully you can help me with my following dishwasher problem. I have a Siemens SE60590/09. The machine doesn't pump the water away and according to the Siemens helpdesk it is probably a software problem. Do you know how to reset the software? It's not in the manual and now Siemens wants to send a repairman to reset it and make me pay a lot of money and in addition I have to wait for two weeks for them to come over.
Best wishes, Alwine
