    Does the Pioneer DV565-A need a hack and if so what it is?

    Hi, there isnt a remote control hack for the 565.
    Alot of people talk about a hardware chip for the palyer but this isnt true either, what they actualy do is recode the player using software and transmit the software to the player using a Palm or simlar PDA.
    If youve got something like a palm you can find the code on the net and reprogram it your self.

    Attu - can u tell me whereabouts on the web can you download the multi-region software onto a pda?

    Hi, have a look at this forum.
    I found a few sites with info but this is the only one I can find at the moment.
    Im not 100% sure how it works and havnt tried it my self though a friend was going to try it, ill have to contact him and see how he got on.
    This site is the one, sorry the info is a bit vague.
