Sound problems with JVC DVD player

I'm experiencing problems with my JVC TH-A9R DVD

Digital Cinema System.

Everything was fine until a month ago when the centre speaker made a loud booming sound and the sound went off. The picture was still fine.

I looked under & quot;troubleshooting & quot; in the manual and all it suggested was that the leads weren't connected etc.

Since then, every now and again, it will play a DVD ok for upto an hour, then the centre speaker will make a loud growl again and the sound is lost.

I've tried swapping SCART leads, re-connecting speakers etc but with no luck



Any idea?
