Hi Im from denmark and I'm considering to bye a Samsung 300m, triband mobile phone to use here in DK but also on a longer stay in Australia. What frekvency do they use in Australia? (900,1800 or 1900). And most important: do they use sim cards in Australia? My plan is to bye a simcard and a & quot;deal & quot; in Australia when I go there, and use it in Australia on the phone (bought here in europe, Denmark)... can anybody help me? thank you...

Australia is dual band (1800MHz) so you don't even need a tri-band phone. Regarding SIM cards, they are used there but you should look at buying an Australian international SIM card to get the best rates (that way you can get a local number and take advantage of much lower call costs).
