Hi ive been thinking of buying a 3g mobile from this site as the tariff is really good much cheaper than my current deal and it gives me a free phone. The tariff is something like 750 free minutes to any network at any time and 50 ( i think ) texts a month for just £35p/m . Is this to good to be true ? and has anybody got the phones that they offer as i was wondering how you get on with them.
The site is :

Thanks -

Go to www.o2.co.uk
They have a lot of free phones. With a tariff that is £25 a month, you get 750 free minutes and 500 texts a month! check it out, plus you get a any camera phone for free with 125 free mms messages. -

yeah the problem is the 750 min on o2 tariff are just to 02 mobiles and landliness and are off peak where the 3 ones offer 750 to any mobile or landline and are peak as well as off peak. But thanks for responding

DONT DO IT!!!
Signing up to 3 was the worst (and i seriously mean worst) decision i ever made with mobile phones. The service is truly awful, the phones (i have the NEC 610 i think) is buggy heavy and has a battery life between 6 and 15 hours (thats standby time), oh, and the coverage is iffy.
Not only that but 3g is not only a total waste of time, but it is also extremely patchy, and exceedingly slow.
And as far as support goes, dont even go there - ive been waiting over a WEEK just for a new simcard (something Orange do next day)
To put it one way, ive gone back to using my old phone - unfortunately im on contract with them and am stuck with the bill for a while, but a small price to pay to not want to destroy my phone every time it does something like drop a call etc...
