    I have a Philips 21PT2665. The sound quality is terrible. When channel hopping, the sound levels vary from normal (the channel I was watching) to extremely quiet to very loud. It's a total pain. How do I control this ?

    I have a similar problem with my sony rear projection tv. The problem started after I activated volume control with my Cable TV remote and then deactivated it. Now, the volume on specific channels is very low, even when the volume is turned to max.
