    I have bought a Toshiba SD22VB combo DVD/VCR that is advertised as playing vieo CD's. I have attempted to play several pre-recorded video CD's and the system does not recognise them. Has anyone had the same problem or do I have a faulty machine?

    I have the same DVD player as yourself.

    I've burnt VideoCD's using Nero ver 5.5.9.0 and they work fine in the Toshiba.
