I bought a tft monitor, princeton dpp500 15 & quot; to be exact for £50 working. It came with no power supply though, so I bought one at a cost of £40. I plugged it in but unfortunately I plugged it firstly and it worked, but didnt display anything, which I found out later to be because I had my other CRT monitor plugged into the dual display graphics card). Since nothing happened, I switched the polarity, and put it in with the wrong polarity(its a power supply that has several adaptors to fit into different appliances and I plugged the adaptor in the wrong way around)
and now it doesn't power on at all. I've contacted the supplier, princeton, and they say it's probably a broken glass type fuse inside the tft monitor which has been broken, because their tft's usually have something which stops the electronics being fried if the supply is the wrong polarity.
Does anyone know where to get a replacement glass type fuse, or even if anyone can fix it?
Thanks in advance, greg -

You firstly need to open up the display and find the blown fuse (use a fuse tester, continuity tester or multimeter if it can not be found visibly). Once you have located it take it to Maplins, Farnell's or RS Components. Any of these stores should be able to provide a suitable replacement.
