    Worked a treat when I realised I should be looking at the screen rather than the front of the player itself. Thanks Stuart

    3) Press and hold LANG key

    4) Release Volume UP - Region is displayed

    5) Release LANG and use the DOWN nav key to change region

    Did not work for me either but found this somewhere else and it does
    1.power up
    2.open tray
    3.press vol to max and release
    4.press lang and release
    5.press down cursor button to select 0 for multi region
    6.press enter

    it took a couple of goes to make it work but it did
