    On a different note - I keep getting the letter E in the top right-hand corner of my display. When this happens I'm not able to make calls. Anyone know why?

    rae...i'v got the same irda port as u. i wrote to mobile action and said that the infra red port isnt compatible with the sagem(not wot the guy who i bought it off ebay said to me!!!)one of the previous users in this forum however suggests another type of irda port which you should try because it works for him!

    japonica...i'v experienced the same problem with the E in the corner however for no longer than a minute, tried to skim the manual but still couldnt see anything!try goin to the website and writing to them! cant go wrong there!!

    scotsland...the irda port doesnt come with the fone..gotta buy it separatly!however when you do DONT BUY THE MOBILE ACTION MA620!!myself and rae can vouch for that!

    Hi,

    Having problems transferring pics from phone to pc, have an irda adaptor bought on recommendation at Maplin, installed driver, plugged in and still nothing.

    Without appearing completely thick, what is supposed to happen, I was told it would read photos from the infared sect on side but it doesnt.

    dolly..download the 'my pictures and sounds' software from www.planetsagem.com and hopefully it should work with that.

    I got my USB - IRDA adapter from

    I had a minor problem, it wouldn't work when i plugged it into a USB port until i rebooted computer.



    I'm on Win ME. When i've rebooted and turned the 'IRDA-on' on the phone, when i bring the two items together i get a symbol appear on my task bar (a wireless device). Also on the phone a little computer appears on the display next to the flashing 'waves'. Then i just go to a picture and select transfer by IRDA. My computer gets a dialogue box asking if i want to accept the file, i click yes and it downloads and goes onto the desktop. As simple as that!

    If you have problems try the reboot and check in 'settings/control panel/system/device manager' that the wireless device is ok (i.e. your USB-IRDA adapter)

    If you want a USB - IRDA adapter that'll work fine with your Sagem myX-6 then search on google for:-



    Y-160 USB IRDA



    This is the one that works great for me!

    Dolly - Best thing to do is go to planet sagem and download my pitcures and sounds ( or summat like that, cant remem off top of head) version 7 tho. Once u have that its easy to transfer the photos from the myx6 to pc and pc to mobile.....endless fun!!
