I haven't got XP/2000 either. I'm on Win ME. And it works just as i said before, you don't need extra software, just the irda drivers. As Win ME is just a tarted up version of Win 98SE, i should imagine it'll be the same on that as well. If you're on Win 98 or Win 95 ....... you really need to upgrade (you won't support USB anyway).

I have a My X6 and a Mobile action technology MA-620 USB Infra red port but it loses the connection every time I try to transfer my pictures to my PC. Any suggestions?

I had this problem, i had to make sure the GPRS was set to & quot;as requested & quot; if that helps at all.

Like you mine also seems to loose connection...as i previously posted though, i'v found that the software for the MA-620 isn't even compatible with the sagem. have you been able to succesfully download pictures with the MA620 or am i looking at wrong compatability lists?! thanx dan

According to the manufacturers website the Sagem is supported but I haven't managed to transfer anything. I also have a generic (ie. not genuine Sagem) data cable and that won't work with the Sagem software. Anyone know of a crack to make that work?

I use an usb to IrDa adapter to send and receive files to my mobile my-x6 (http://www.sigmatel.com/infrared/wireless_infrared-b.htm), and I use also the software & quot;My pictures and sounds & quot; by sagem, that u can easily find on the site http://www.planetsagem.com . I don't have any kinda troubles with them

Read my posts lower down in the list. Forget the data cable. Get a USB IRDA. You don't need any special software, just the drivers for the USB device (which come with it anyway). You'll be able to transfer pictures to and from your phone. You can transfer sounds in midi and wav format (you just gotta get it into right format-8Khz 16bit mono). Using the software with the phone you can back up your phone book etc. This phone is the BIZ! - apart from the midi implementation - the sounds are all like a casio keyboard Sad

But my IRDA thingy won't receive any files from the phone. It's a Mobile Action Technology MA 620 and it always loses the connection before I can transfer any data. Any ideas???
